These bars are made with biodegradable cleansers and are safer for septics and for aquatic life than the cleansers used in liquid shampoos. Most importantly, they are safer for you. You’ll find these shampoo bars have a rich lather. They are pH neutral, so your hair will actually feel clean and not weighed down. They don’t strip your hair of oils and are gentle to color treated hair. You’ll likely see reduced scalp irritation thanks to the calendula and rosehip oils, dandruff and less hair loss. They are available in unscented and scented varieties and are packaged in recyclable/compostable paper.
With these bars, I lose less than half the hair that I was losing with liquid shampoo. Another benefit of the pH is that you likely won’t need conditioner anymore. Even with my crazy hair that does what it wants, I’ve been able to stop using conditioner. I thought I’d have to rinse with apple cider vinegar or moisturize my hair with argan oil. I do nothing but wet my hair, rub she shampoo bar on my head until I get a good lather and rinse it out, brush and dry. That’s it, nothing else.
